The self-hosted publish timer has not produced an upload since it was enabled (manifest last updated 2026-07-14, a manual run), and failures were invisible. Make the job safe to run daily and easy to deploy: - publish-ownership-snapshot.sh: skip the upload when the published manifest already has the latest as-of date (pre-check via discover for XLSX sources, post-build check for legacy PDF); --force to override. Always ends with one line: RESULT: published|up-to-date <as-of> or RESULT: FAILED stage=<stage> (exit N). gh release create no longer requires a git checkout. - check-ownership-snapshot-freshness.sh: exit 1 when the published latest_as_of_date is older than --max-age-days (default 40). - flake: packages.ownership-publisher bundles the scripts with a pinned idx (curl-impersonate + mupdf) and jq/gh/sqlite/curl as bin/idx-ownership-publish and bin/idx-ownership-freshness, so hosts need no checkout, nix develop or cargo build at run time. Built in CI. - contrib/systemd + docs: daily 06:00 UTC timer, run semantics table, freshness alarm, packaged usage. idx-cli
CLI tool for Indonesian stock market (IDX) analysis, built in Rust for humans and AI agents.
Installation
Install script (Linux, macOS)
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/0xrsydn/idx-cli/main/install.sh | sh
Downloads the prebuilt idx binary for your platform from GitHub Releases,
verifies it against the release SHA256SUMS, and installs it into
~/.local/bin without sudo. Pin a version or change the directory with
sh -s -- --version v0.2.3 --dir ~/bin. See docs/INSTALL.md.
Cargo
cargo install idx-cli
This installs the idx binary. idx-cli currently requires Rust 1.85+.
If you use the install script or the Cargo install path directly, some commands also require helper tools at runtime:
- Yahoo-authenticated flows require a
curl_chrome*binary fromcurl-impersonate-chromeinPATH, orIDX_CURL_IMPERSONATE_BINpointing at that binary. - Ownership PDF import requires
mutoolfrom MuPDF inPATH.
Install those helpers with your OS package manager, or use the Nix app/package below so they are wrapped automatically.
Nix
nix run github:0xrsydn/idx-cli -- version
nix profile install github:0xrsydn/idx-cli#default
The Nix app wraps idx with curl-impersonate and mupdf, so the Yahoo auth and ownership PDF helper tools are available automatically.
